Google Talk is a fantastic light application for chatting with your gmail chat contacts or buddies/friends. Although chatting can be done via gmail website in the browser itself but chatting via gmail in browser faces connectivity issues on slow internet but with Gtalk chat application, slow internet won’t be an issue as you can chat straight away with your friends as you do in yahoo messenger.
Note – Gtalk program is not chatting application for chatting in rooms or with strangers. It is chat client for chatting with gmail contacts and friends only who can be invited via its interface also. Further Google Talk program doesn’t support features like videocalling and invisible status option. Other important features lining up Google Talk is easy sign in, easy status update, easy and comfortable chatting as well as new email notification, sound notification, cute interface, off the record features which enable you to chat without letting it save the chat in either your account or your friend’s account.
